Seiko launches Prospex LX Line series SNR045 limited edition watch
The Seiko LX Line came out in 2019 and belongs to a new timepiece series. It represents the highest level of Prospex in terms of quality and performance and the innovation of the Spring Drive movement. All watches in this series are designed for a specific purpose, perfectly responding to the needs of three different activities, sea, land and air, and can be called pure Prospex timepieces. Today, Seiko has launched a new Prospex LX Line series SNR045 limited edition replica watch based on the marine version.
The new Prospex LX Line series SNR045 limited edition watch is inspired by Antarctica, especially the Skavsnes Peninsula, which is about 55 kilometers away from the Showa Research Station in Japan. At the bottom of a nearby lake, Japanese researchers discovered a mysterious underwater moss forest. This columnar moss is very unique, it took several centuries to form and was affectionately named “kokebozu” (Japanese roman word, koke means moss, bouzu means little boy). The new limited edition watch brings the mysterious scenery of underwater forest and columnar moss into real life.
The new dial is decorated with a unique texture, reminiscent of columnar moss, and its source of inspiration is clear at a glance. The ceramic bezel with a 60-minute diving scale also uses the same color scheme, giving the fake watch a unique personality and bold appearance. The dial is equipped with oversized hands (typically refined style) and applied hour markers, and are filled with high-performance Lumibrite fluorescent materials.
The case of the new model SNR045 is the same as the non-limited edition, made of high-density titanium, decorated with super hard coating, lightweight and durable. The case is large and strong, with a diameter of 44.8 mm and sharp edges and corners. Equipped with a sapphire crystal mirror, a unidirectional rotating bezel and screw-in crown, water resistance to 300 meters. This watch is paired with a titanium bracelet and a three-fold sliding button switch clasp.
A major feature of LX Line series watches is powered by Seiko’s innovative hybrid technology, SNR045 is no exception. The case has a built-in 5R65 Spring Drive movement, which combines the advantages of self-winding machinery with the precision of a quartz adjustment mechanism. The time accuracy can reach ±1 second/day (±15 seconds/month), with hours, minutes, seconds, date, and Remaining power reserve display (72 hours in full string state) function.
