Grand Seiko introduces new dials for the SBGJ285, SBGH347, SBGY035 and SLGW003 for 2024

The Heritage series is a classic from Grand Seiko, retaining the shape of the 44GS, from which the design principles of the Grand Seiko Style are derived. These principles include flat surfaces to minimize distortion, mirror-polished cases to ensure perfect shine, pure geometric shapes with well-proportioned proportions, etc.
The latest Grand Seiko Heritage watch is the SBGJ285, which is exclusive to the Southeast Asia region and uses a 44GS case, but the dial color and pattern are new. The lavender dial is inspired by the world’s most popular Japanese wisteria and the color of its flowers when it blooms in early spring. This color is called “vine color” and it is used for the first time. The SBGJ285 uses a Hi-Beat movement and a GMT complication, with the dark purple hour hand on the dial indicating the time. The automatic 9S86 movement runs at a brisk 5Hz, is accurate to +5/-3 seconds per day, and has a power reserve of 55 hours.
Grand Seiko Heritage Ref. SBGH347
For those who want an ice blue dial with Grand Seiko’s precise timekeeping capabilities, the SBGH347 is their answer. The design of this wholesale replica watches is inspired by the sight of the Shizukuishi Falls freezing over in the winter, with its vertical pattern creating a light and shadow effect that resembles the waterfall’s icicles.
The Ref. SBGH347 is also housed in a 44GS case and is equipped with the automatic 9S85 movement. It features a textured dial pattern inspired by the changing colors of leaves in autumn; this is further expressed by the copper-colored dial. This Spring Drive watch is accurate to just 15 seconds per month, and the automatic 9R65 movement offers a three-day power reserve, more than enough to get through the weekend for those who put the dress watch aside on Friday.
Grand Seiko Ref. SLGW003
The Evolution 9 design, introduced by Grand Seiko on its 60th anniversary, is a modern interpretation of Grand Seiko style. Until this year, it was used on sporty Grand Seiko models. Now, the Evolution 9 takes on the design of a dress watch, with longer proportions and softer angles. Coupled with a new dial pattern inspired by the bark of birch trees in the forest surrounding the Shizukuishi studio, it offers a unique monochrome design in the SLGW003.
In fact, the SLGW003 is made of Brilliant Hard Titanium, a rare choice for ultra-light dress watches, which is extremely strong and has an incredible Zaratsu polished mirror effect. It combines the qualities of modern watchmaking with classic Japanese aesthetics, hinting at the future of Grand Seiko watches.
