Red Eagle lands in Turkey
Our friends at Horobox have just released their third limited edition, a beautiful red Chopard Alpine Eagle.
Founded in 2015, Horobox is a watch blog and collectors community based in Turkey. Run by our good friend Serdar Oal, this Turkish blog aims to keep a finger on the pulse of the watch industry and report extensively. Since its inception, Horobox has released three extremely limited editions that have all sold out, including the new Chopard Alpine Eagle Horobox Limited Edition.
Red Eagle
Launched in 2019, the replica Chopard Alpine Eagle has been a hit from day one. Inspired by the St. Moritz watch that Chopard founded in 1980, the brand has revamped its first steel sports watch of the 80s with a new name and contemporary style that fits today’s fashion. Also inspired by St. Moritz, the Alpine Eagle’s one-piece bracelet design blends in with your wrist. Last but not least, its elegant appeal is striking. If you’re looking for an all-in-one steel sports watch, the Alpine Eagle is a great choice.
For the Chopard Alpine Eagle Limited Edition, Horobox opted for a bright burgundy dial. The dial pattern aptly echoes the complex and sharp eyes of the eagle. With white Roman numerals and hour markers, this is the first and only time Chopard offers this colour and is exclusive to Horobox. It’s a shame because the shades are really bright in the sun and it’s hard to take your eyes off it.
The sporty and stylish Alpine Eagle Limited Edition is crafted from Chopard’s exclusive ultra-abrasive, hypoallergenic and reflective Lucent Steel A223, which is 50% more durable than regular steel. Fits, considering it’s a sports watch.

Very disappointed not to have landed for myself, I can’t help but admire how the watch was delivered to its new owner. The happy new owners of the Chopard Alpine Eagle Horobox Limited Edition were treated to a special personalised customer service at an exclusive dinner hosted by Chopard Turkey’s official retailer Tektaş Saatçilik at Nida Kule in Istanbul.
Finally, to promote this limited edition, our friends at Horobox made a great video. In it, they put an elemental test of the Chopard Alpine Eagle Horobox Limited Edition and an extensive adventure in the Turkish countryside.
Special mention to our friend Zelda, who was the main “actor” on this shoot and gave me Antonio Banderas vibes. Popular cheap watch
