Breitling Endurance Pro
Breitling today unveiled a new collection, the Endurance Pro. The watches in this collection feature a thermo-compensated SuperQuartz™ movement and a Breitlight® case.
Breitling Endurance Pro
The new collection aims to create a lightweight watch for both athletes and casual people. The goal was to create an everyday sports chronograph that combines a lightweight, lightweight sports watch with a high-precision movement in a case made of an innovative material (despite being launched in 2013). The launch was accompanied by the Breitling Endurance Pro Strava Challenge, which gave participants the opportunity to compete for prizes.
The collection is available in 5 strap colors and dial and crown decorations. All models feature the same SuperQuartz movement and are housed in the same Breitlight case. https://www.proreviewwatch.co
Case, Dial and Hands
The case is made of a proprietary material called Breitlight®, which is extremely light and very strong. This material was used by Breitling back in 2013 and is making its return appearance after many years. It’s not carbon fiber, but Breitling’s own Swiss-made case material, made from a lightweight high-tech polymer filled with composite fibers for strength and rigidity. The material is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than stainless steel, and is non-magnetic, thermally stable, and hypoallergenic. Breitlight is also said to be highly resistant to scratches, traction, and corrosion.
The material is lightweight and matte, without any glitter from light reflections. As mentioned, there are five color options, each with a black dial and a black bidirectional rotating bezel engraved with the compass and cardinal directions (north, south, east, and west). The five colors are white, blue, yellow, orange, and red. The colors appear as accent marks on the bezel, which also features a pulsometer scale.
The hour and minute hands are coated in SuperLumiNova. The coating on the numerals 1, 2 (partially cut), 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 (partially cut) and 11 is quite thick and bulges out from the sides, forming a nice convex shape with the Arabic numerals. The numerals 3, 6 and 9 are large and also partially cut. Some purists may find this puzzling, but we didn’t mind and found the dial design to be quite balanced, albeit a little busy. We forgot to take photos of the lume, but noticed that the SulerLumiNova is quite thick and we’re sure it will be quite bright. The chronograph seconds hand has a red arrow pointer. The pointer on the small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock is white tipped, while the pointers on the 1/10 second and 30 minute counters are red tipped. luxury fake Watches
The crown is tactilely molded in the same color as the strap and inner bezel, and feels comfortable to hold and is easy to operate to wind the watch and set the time. The chronograph operates as expected, and each chronograph function activates smoothly.
The watch is worn on a Diver Pro rubber strap in the same color as the inner bezel. The strap secures with a Breitlight double pin buckle. A brightly colored Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO strap is available separately.
The overall feel is very light, but also very rugged and durable. The case is rated for 100 meters of water resistance. This is all in line with Breitling’s intended use. The bright colors add a playful element. On the wrist, it feels warm to the touch, and the textured finish is a pretty nice touch. The readability of the dial is somewhat reduced, as it is quite busy, but overall the hours and minutes are easy to read at a glance thanks to the use of large hands and markers.
Movement
At the heart of the Endurance Pro is the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 82, which features SuperQuartz™ technology for exceptional accuracy.
Since we know this is a new movement, we don’t know much about it. The movement is COSC-certified. Based on past experience with thermo-compensated Superquartz movements, we expect its accuracy to remain at a level of no less than 15 seconds per year. For example, the fake Breitling B55, which uses the Breitling B55 movement (derived from ETA Thermoline), is also a thermo-compensated superquartz that has a timekeeping accuracy deviation of no more than 15 seconds per year.
The Breitling Endurance Pro watch provides an interesting entry point into the Breitling world. This watch has quite an interesting element to it, and the gorgeous color accents add a sporty touch. Visually, it is very much on point.
The high-precision quartz movement adds beauty to the light and sturdy case. The watch is very light, and although the case size is 44mm, we think it is small to wear, which is perfect for hardcore sports and active lifestyles. The textured finish is a nice touch and contrasts with the cold metal, giving it a warm feel.
Breitling Endurance Pro Strava Challenge
Strava is the world’s leading running and cycling app. Its features allow athletes to track and analyze every aspect of their activities, no matter which sport they choose. The Breitling Endurance Pro Strava Challenge is designed to engage and inspire participants from all over the world.
The Strava Challenge will go live on August 26, 2020, and participants will have the opportunity to compete for fabulous prizes, including a Breitling Colnago C64 bike, a Breitling Endurance Pro watch, and a Breitling jersey set.
