Audemars Piguet introduces two Royal Oak Frosted Gold Automatic models in 18K white or yellow gold. These monochrome models feature a special “Crystal Sand” finish dial that complements the hammered finish of the case and bracelet, and features fine contrasting details that create a fascinating play of light and texture. Powered by the 5800 movement, these 34mm watches are designed to fit smaller wrists and highlight Audemars Piguet’s unwavering commitment to fine watchmaking.
“Crystal Sand” Finish in Rhodium or Gold
The “Crystal Sand” finish dial complements the frosted gold finish of the case and bracelet, adding a unique, textured, shimmering pattern to the heart of the watch.
The relief pattern is meticulously created by Audemars Piguet fake artisans and is inspired by real ruthenium crystals. The die is created atom by atom through a metal deposition process called electroforming. ¹ To complete the monochromatic look, the colour of the new motif is obtained by electroplating, in rhodium and gold coatings respectively, to enhance the depth of the motif while maximising the effect of light.
The white gold case is adorned with 18K rose gold hour markers and hands with luminescent coating. On the yellow gold case, the warm tones of the watch contrast with the polished 18K white gold hour markers and hands, creating a unique atmosphere. The “Audemars Piguet” logo is obtained by electroplating and printed on the decorative frame below the double hour markers at 12 o’clock, in the same gold material as the decorations. The date window at 3 o’clock blends into the background and complements the harmonious design tone of both watches.

Lighting with texture
The new Royal Oak Automatic features a 34mm case and matching bracelet in 18K yellow or white gold with an overall hammered finish that plays with the light. Renamed “Frosted Gold” by Audemars Piguet, this ancient technique was reinterpreted by jeweller Carolina Bucci in 2016 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Royal Oak Women’s watch and adapted by Audemars Piguet artisans to adorn timepieces at the Manufacture. To achieve the desired effect, tiny indentations are chiseled into the surface of the gold using a diamond tool, giving it a special texture that reflects light in a unique way.
The diamond dust effect of frosted gold combines sparkle and shine, contrasting with polished and satin-brushed surfaces. Faceted bevels highlight the Royal Oak’s distinctive octagonal bezel, while satin-finishing on the case and bracelet sides adds depth, texture and brilliance.
Exquisite automatic movement
Both new fake watches for sale are powered by the Calibre 5800, designed for the Royal Oak 34mm collection launched in 2020. This 4mm thick movement beats at 4 Hz and has a power reserve of 50 hours. The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback, revealing the 22-carat rose gold rotor and the exquisite decoration, including Geneva waves, satin and sunray finishes, circular graining and polished chamfers.
