Breitling adds tourbillon to top timepieces
Breitling has added tourbillons to three watches in its Top Time Classic Cars collection, a collection of luxury sports chronographs that pay homage to classic cars. The new timepieces pay homage to the heritage of the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette and Shelby Cobra, three famous cars that Breitling links to existing watches in the collection.
Combining the new tourbillon with a variety of case metals and dial treatments (including a walnut burl dial), the watchmaker aims to add some modern technology to the essentially retro-themed Top Time collection.
Breitling equips each fake watches cheap with the B21 movement, which is the same movement that Breitling developed with movement manufacturer La Joux-Perret and that was first used in the Breitling Premier Tourbillon watch last year. .
The B21 movement is a column-wheel controlled design with a horizontal clutch and is a COSC-certified chronometer with a skeletonized rotor. The wearer can admire the column wheel on each watch through the case back.

For the new model, Breitling placed the tourbillon cage at 12 o’clock and the chronograph minute counter at 6 o’clock, in part to evoke the look of vintage car dashboard instruments. You can also find a tachometer scale inside the bezel of all three new models.
The Top Time B21 Ford Mustang was its debut model and featured a 43mm bronze case, titanium back and green dial that was color matched to the first generation Ford Mustang (1964 to 1974).
The second model to debut is the Top Time B21 Shelby Cobra, which comes in a 44mm black ceramic case with a titanium back, crown, pushers and buckle. Its blue dial matches the color theme of the 1962 model, which was famously developed by Le Mans winner Carroll Shelby.
The third model making its debut is the Top Time B21 Chevrolet Corvette, which features a 44mm black ceramic case with a titanium case back, crown, pushers and buckle.
