Richard Mille presents the new RM 30-01 with detachable rotor
Richard Mille designed the RM 30-01 using the engineering methods of a Formula 1 race car.
In a very short period of time, Richard Mille watches soared to the top of the luxury watch market, becoming some of the most exclusive and expensive watches in the world. The watchmakers at Richard Mille are pleased to present the new RM 30-01 with detachable rotor, expanding its collection with precious materials and state-of-the-art movement technology. Designed using Formula 1 engineering methods, the RM 30-01 has a comfortable case shape and is available in titanium or 18k rose gold. The skeletonized dial allows the inner workings of the watch to be seen at a glance, presenting a visual effect similar to that of a racing tachometer or speedometer.
Behind Richard Mille’s latest creation lies the newly developed in-house RMAR2 movement. The skeletonized self-winding movement is responsible for powering the hours, minutes, seconds, oversized date, clutch engagement and power reserve indicators, function selector and detachable variable geometry rotor functions. The transparent sapphire bottom cover shows Richard Mille’s professional craftsmanship from another angle, and the case is also engraved with commemorative engravings. Richard Mille has equipped the two new RM 30-01 watches with comfortable black racing rubber straps, completing their look in traditional fashion.
