Zenith and London-based watch customizer Bamford Watch Department have taken their partnership to the next level with an app for customizing the Pilot Type 20 chronograph.

Zenith is the first watch brand to officially partner with renowned watch customizer Bamford Watch Department. The two companies first collaborated in June 2017 and have since launched custom edition watches such as the El Primero Original, Heritage 146 and Cronometro Tipo CP-2.

Zenith partnered with the Bamford Watch Department to launch special editions over the next few years, allowing customers to create and customize their watches. As part of this new collaboration, both brands pay homage to the venerable Zenith Pilot Type 20 watch originally launched in 2012.

The Zenith Tablet App allows unlimited customization with the new Zenith Pilot Type 20 Chronograph. The watch retains features of its predecessor, such as the 45mm case, the downturned kink in the lug profile, and the iconic onion crown at 3 o’clock, in homage to the original Zenith Pilot’s fake Watch from 1909.

This watch is available in two case styles: the original stainless steel aged finish and the matte black finish. A distressed metal case gives this watch a vintage feel, with a specially engraved illustration on the back of the case. The watch features large cathedral-style hands, minute side rings, Arabic hour markers for the time indication, and SuperLuminova coating on the hour markers and hands for visibility in low light conditions.

Through the Zenith tablet app, customers can create thousands of variations on this great timepiece. The app is available in all Zenith boutiques worldwide. In addition to the case material options, the Bamford Watch Department also offers 11 different color options: White, Black, Ferrari Red, Aqua Blue, Colette Blue, BWD Yellow, BWD Orange, BWD Green, Army Green, BWD Purple, BWD Grey . Customers can customize any part of the watch with these vibrant colors, including the leather strap stitching, hour markers and dial.
