Review Breitling Endurance Pro
When Georges Kern took over fake Breitling in 2018, he boldly announced that the brand would streamline its collection and remove watches without a clear storyline or target audience. This led to the demise of one of Breitling’s entry-level quartz watches, the Colt Skyracer.
But fast-forward two years, the brand reverted its focus to quartz watches and launched a new sports watch series in its professional series. We use the term “quartz” loosely, but as all fans know, Breitling does not actually make quartz. It executes SuperQuartz (insert action movie sequence). Yes, its SuperQuartz model has passed COSC certification, just like other watches in the Breitling series.
Of course, SuperQuartz has been a supercharged version of Breitling’s ordinary quartz movement since 2001. Ten times more accurate than the already ultra-precise ordinary quartz movement, the maximum rate change of the SuperQuartz movement is only 15 seconds per year. In contrast, the average change of the ordinary quartz movement is 150 seconds or two and a half minutes.
This year, Breitling Calibre 82 SuperQuartz movement is loaded into a series of new sports watches, not only tailored for serious athletes, but also for those who like to sweat profusely without compromising their style. Inspired by the Breitling Sprint in the 1970s, the new Endurance Pro is also equipped with a pulse meter, so you can check your heart rate while exercising, and thanks to the Breitlight case, it is also very lightweight.
Breitlight is more than 3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than stainless steel. It is almost the sports watch you want. It is not only anti-magnetic, but the material is also resistant to temperature fluctuations, scratches and corrosion. If you are exercising, this shell is also hypoallergenic, so it is more comfortable on sweaty skin.
Colorful watches seem to be all the rage this year, and Endurance Pro certainly has quite a few bright tones. There are five colors to choose from-orange, yellow, red, white and blue-with a black dial and two-way rotating bezel. The flange is the same color as the strap and has a pulsimeter scale, while the hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, so you can still easily tell the time when cycling at night.
Although the watch is equipped with a Diver Pro rubber strap, users can also purchase the same colorful Outerknown NATO watch with a little change. Outerknown was co-founded by Kelly Slater, a member of the Breitling surfer team, and used ECONYL yarn to make the watch strap, which is made from recycled nylon waste such as fishing nets.

In terms of performance, Breitling Endurance Pro is really nothing to fault. It perfectly caters to active devices with its accuracy, reliability, portability and robustness. But for some reason, we can’t help feeling that the series lacks a green version, which will truly make the whole series more complete. Although this color has been attractive in recent years, green seems to be a very natural outdoor hue. Considering that Breitling Sprint is green, I hope we can see the shadow in the next evolution of Endurance Pro. swiss watches
