The original Double Tourbillon 30 ° Technique was the idea of ​​Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey in 1999. It wasn’t until 2004 that this technology was realized – proving the complexity and superb technical level of this watch swiss. The tourbillon escapement can compensate for timing errors caused by the effect of gravity on the wrist at certain positions.

The patented 30 ° double tourbillon has two tourbillon cages: a single cage that can rotate for four minutes, and a second smaller cage with balance wheel and spring assembly, which is located at Inside the cage. The small cage is tilted 30 degrees and rotates every 60 seconds. The inclination of the tourbillon escapement and different speeds work together to improve accuracy.
